MCAL History at the North Coast Section Cross Country Championships

Special thanks to former San Marin Coach Craig Stern for posting the NCS data in the MCAL Cross Country Championships program in 2003.  Below is an updated MCAL Cross Country History at the NCS Meet through 2015.

There were no divisions from 1954 to 1986. In 1987 the State CIF sponsored the State Cross Country Championships in 3 divisions. In 1990 the State expanded to 4 divisions. Division 5 was added in 1996.
