ranmarin is for current and past high school runners from marin. The goal is to follow current and past marin athletes, create an online archive of marin running history of past athletes and help us stay connected.

Ran Marin 
Just found this website – love! My daughter is Glennis Murphy. My husband, her dad, is Rich Murphy (Drake HS ’82). Rich ran with Bill Taylor, and will help Coach Taylor with his next Arête trip this summer. My son, Redwood Senior Drake Murphy (named after the explorer, not the HS), ran XC w/Glen the past two years, but is, predominately, focused on Mountain Biking. He’s been on Redwood HS MTB team for 4 years.
Anyhow, the history of Marin HS running looms large in our family. My husband has known runners, some now local coaches, in our community since his own XC/Track days at Drake. Through Glen, and my own work in Marin as a small business owner, I’ve had the good fortune to meet many of her fellow athletes, and their families.
This is such a wonderful group of people! Wish you all the best, and excited to see how the rest of the 2015 track season unfolds.
