The NCS Track and Field Meet of Champions is on Friday and Saturday, May 26 and 27 at Edwards Field on the UC Berkeley campus. Trials were held on Friday and Finals on Saturday. Results can be found at the following link:
Marin Track and Field teams competed in two different meets this weekend trying to qualify for the NCS Meet of Champions to be held at UC Berkeley on May 26 & 27.
Branson, Marin Academy, and San Domenico were at the Class 1A (small schools) meet at Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa while the other Marin schools competed in the Redwood Empire meet at Redwood High School.

Last league meet of the season was a dogfight from start to finish. Every event was hotly contested. When the dust settled, the girls regular season champion is Redwood, beating Tam by 14 points. The Tam boys pulled out a 10 point victory over Drake for the boys regular season championship. It was a great day of track and a wonderful lead-in to next weeks MCAL championships

The Women Pole Vault was won by Lauren Ross, a sophomore at Tamalpais, with a jump of 12-01.00. This mark is the new MCAL record for the Girls Pole Vault.
