Can you guess which college has the most Marin athletes on the roster? Did you know that several athletes from Marin are on top ranked NCAA Div l Cross Country teams?

The answer to the first question is Whitman College which is a Div lll school. On the 2012 Cross Country roster:

• Erik Olson of Novato is a Junior at Stanford University which is ranked #8
• Steven Iglehart of Branson is a Senior at Columbia University which is ranked #17
• Alec Govi of Marin Catholic is a Senior at UCLA which is ranked #27

Marin Catholic Girls team raced in the Small Schools Division and placed 10th. Jordan Allen led the team with a 6th place finish in 19:50, only 17 seconds off of her 2011 time.
