2014 NCS Class A Results Saturday May 24
The Branson Girls’ Team won the NCS Class A Meet for the first time. Branson finished with 71 points to beat the 2013 Champions Lick Wilmerding by 5 points.
- Julia Maxwell of Branson set a new meet record in the 1600m with the time of 4:56.88. The top 3 finishers broke the previous meet record of 5:07.
- Anna Harleen placed 2nd with the time of 4:59.67. Anna is now the 4th MCAL female runner to break the 5 minute barrier and she moves to #4 on the MCAL All-Time List for the Girls 1600m.
2014 NCS Redwood Empire Results Saturday May 24
- The Novato 4 X 100m relay set a new meet record with the time of 41.80. The meet record was held by Healdsburg 42.93 from 2008. The Novato Boys 4 X 100m Relay team moves to #1 on the MCAL All-Time List. (Jalen Hemphill 12, Brandon Randel 12, Kadeem Hemphill 12, Christian Corbin 12)
- August Kiles of Tam won the Boys Pole Vault and set a new meet record of 15 feet, 10 inches breaking the 19 year-old meet mark.
