Stanford Invitational April 1/2, 2016 Stanford University
Marin had several former MCAL runners compete at the collegiate level at the prestigious Stanford Invitational.
- Fred Huxham (Redwood) competing for Washington raced the 1500m running 3:49.79 to finish 7th in his heat.
- Dan Milechman (Tam) competing for New Mexico raced his first 10000m in 29:29.8 to finish 24th in his race. Dan closed his race with a 64 final lap.
- Julia Maxwell (Branson) competing for Stanford University raced her first 5000m in 16:18.05 to finish 13th in her heat. Julia was able to run even splits and finish with a 75 last lap. Julia’s time of 16:18.05 is the fastest debut 5000m by a former MCAL runner. Alison Greggor of San Marin ran a personal best of 16:16.86 as a 5th year senior at CAL.
