NCAA Div l West Region   Friday, November 15  Sacramento, CA

Erik Olson (Novato) of Stanford ran another exceptional race and helped his team win the NCAA Div l West Region Meet and qualify for the NCAA Championships. Erik ran 29:48 (4:48) to finish 3rd in the race. The race was won by Edward Cheserek of Oregon in 29:35 (4:46). Jim Rosa of Stanford placed 2nd in 29:43 (4:47). Clayton Hutchins (Drake) of Cal Poly continued to have a great freshman season by placing 85th in 31:39 ( 5:06).  Cal Poly’s team finished 7th out of 17 teams.
