Maxwell Wins at Dan Gabor

Dan Gabor Invitational   Pleasanton  Friday, Mar 8

Julia Maxwell of Branson won the Girls 3200m race in 10:43.80. Jena Pianin of Amador Valley was second in 10:46.60. The two runners traded leads for 6 laps and Julia took the lead for good on the 7th lap and she ran strong to the finish.

  1. Sounds like a great race between Jena Pianin and Julia. I believe Julia’s time is 2nd fastest in the State this Spring. Ahead of Hagen Reedy and behind Sarah Baxter’s 10:35 last weekend.
