RanMarin Summer Training Program Athlete Shout-Outs!

Fall Cross Country season is in swing started and there are some serious shout-outs to give to our RanMarin Summer Training Program athletes! Ranmarin summer training participants have started the fall cross country season with personal bests and course records.

Julia Maxwell started the season by winning the small school division at he challenging Ed Sias cross country meet. She came within one second of the course record, and her time puts her #2 on the Ed Sias all-time list. She won her first 2012 MCAL cross country race, setting a new course record on the Branson home course.

Sophie Breck helped lead the Branson Girls to their first ever Stinson Beach Relays title. The Branson team led the relays from start to finish. Sophie was top 7 overall at the relays and ran 10:55, dropping 45 seconds from last year’s time. In her first MCAL dual meet, Sophie dropped 54 secs on  previous PR on the course.

Also having a great run at the Stinson Beach Relays was Branson’s Sayles Day, who dropped 1:12 from her time at the relays last year. Riley Coven also had a PR at the relays!

Samantha Huff is also off to a great start this season. In the MCAL dual meet against Marin Catholic, Samantha Huff helped Branson defeat MC 19-42by rounding out top 7 for Branson with a time of 19:29.

Peter Saiga has run well at Ed Sias and had the 5th fastest Boys time at Stinson
