Ed Sias Invitational    Sept. 8      Martinez     2 mile race

Branson teammates Julia Maxwell and Anna Harleen took the top two spots in the Girls Varsity Small School race. Julia ran 11:29 to win the race with Anna taking second. The Branson team won the Varisty Small School Division.

Julia’s time puts her #2 on the Ed Sias all time list behind Gordon of Cardonelet  who ran 11:28 in 1996 and just in front of Bei of Montgomery  who ran 11:29 in 1999. Sara Bei attended Stanford and competed at the 2012 Olympic Trials in Eugene as Sara Hall (She is married to Ryan Hall).
